As for the contract, well i'm on the wifes staff tariff so it's unbeatable. But seriously would recommend the X10 phone.

It's similar to the desire. Same processor n' similar screen size and resolution. Strangely though Sony went for the older 1.6 version of Android and not the newer 2.1. I have read that they are talking about rolling out 2.1 for it though.

I am waiting for the black version on the Desire to be released on Orange, near the end of the month. This will be my first new phone in about 3 and a half years! lol

It'll be like night & day. This thing is the cutting edge of smartphones. I would say its basically a very small notepad laptop its that good.

had desire for about a week now and its great. got slideIT app on it which makes writing so much easier too

What's that do exactly? Is it free app, I might try it if it is.

instead of pressing each button you press first letter, hold down and slide to each letter and it spells it out. its free and theres a pro version. i can send you pro version to install free if you want

Dang... Not sure tbh man. That looks way complicated! Guess when you get used to it though it will be pretty special

I didn't get on with the slideIT app....and all it does is make your screen dirtier, faster!

Nothing wrong with the standard Desire keypad tbh.

Pocket Empires game is quite good...if you're a geek like me.

A guy in Canada has managed to get the Android OS part working on the iphone 3g, very exciting! Iphones capabilities are endless, and for that reason, they are the best phones on the market
