Suspension overhaul: MCT Suspension Stowmarket.
With all this talk of suspension changes etc for anybody living on the Essex, Suffolk borders I have just used MCTSuspension in Stowmarket
They overhauled my Showa suspension front and rear and they[Darren] did an ace job. Removed and completely rebuilt, every seal, spacer and clip and two new front springs[Different from OE] and different weight oil-----not just like new,BETTER than new.He even takes time to set it up to your weight, calculates fuel load, type of riding and whether your an back laner or motorway muncher.Test ride ,come back then you test ride your bike and he makes any adjustments you want till you are 100% satisfied Highly recommend them but I will advise you there is about a six week waiting list at the moment for big jobs. It is amazing how much your suspension deteriorates over time[3years since last DIY rebuild ] and it may seem a tad expensive at £400 but in my opinion it was money well spent when you see what they actually do and the results that follow. Re: Suspension overhaul
Well worth the wait, he did my 955 and the 1050 and they make a good cup of tea.

Re: Suspension overhaul
Yes Andy,it was on your recommendation plus quite a few others on the Hotrax circuit that made me choose them.

Re: Suspension overhaul
It wasn't just the stinky stuff he removed I think the seals,shims/spacers and new springs, oil and different air gaps might have something to do with it----same fork and rear outers but a complete transformation of internals.
When I did the last service on them myself I replaced everything like for like and yes,it was OK,but, this is where expertise comes into play and the guy knows what he is about. |

Re: Suspension overhaul
I bet he'd howl with laughter at the Raptors suspension! I'm lucky its so low miled it hasn't gone truely abismal yet.
Mind you for now, its does fine for what I'll be doing...maybe when I win the lottery I'd have a professional eye cast over it. As it will need doing within a year.
