Morning All,
My K4 recently went for its first MOT and they have adjust my clutch lever. It used to bite far out but now they have adjusted it so that it bites almost immediatley after releasing it. As such I cannot always engage 2nd gear let alone neutral. It is stiff as a***holes. All the other gears are Ok, just going from 1st into 2nd. When I mean stiff, Its difficult even stood still using my hand to yank it up. What is causing this and how easy is it to adjust? Do I need to adjust the thread on the bar on the rear set? ![]() Cheers in advance Dan |

To be honest I never queried the MOT people adjusting it as I thought it would be better than before.
Its since the MOT I have had the problem, it was absoultley fine before. It has had a service recently so the oil should be good. I just wondered if there was a simple solution before I take it to my Suzuki dealer to look at. |

The clutch isn't disengaging fully probably, it shouldn't be biting as soon as the lever is released. The more usual and recommended adjustment is how it was before.

Try take a little slack out of the cable and see if it improves. Use adjuster on the bars, just a couple of turns.
