Default Display lights not working

Hey Guys

I only pass my test on wednesday , and i rode my bike to work this morning. I noticed none of my display light were working, rev counter and speedo? whats the first thing to check? fuses etc?? or is there a switch i dont know about, are they suppose to come on with the headlights?

BTW its a curvy s 02

They are supposed to come on with the lights,so you probably have a loose connection somewhere.Good hunting.

"signal" fuse perhaps, or a broken wire or bad connector.

Yeah, walk around and find out if anything else isn't working- the dash lights are in the same circuit as the indicators I think, either that or the brake lights- something ****ing stupid and safety critical anyway- so if it's a fuse it'll take something else out. It's going to be a fairly big job to track unfortunately, you need to remove hte whole front plastics to get to the clock connectors and front loom.

If you're doing this btw, get some silicon contact spray first- the SV loom likes to fill with rain and it's not usually a problem, but it can't hurt to drain it out (there'll be water in there if the bike's ever been properly wet) and spray all the plugs.
