Possibly Bri, but the box over the rear wheel is missing, in a different position?

They're not exactly the same, Uncle's bike has dualseat and rear footrests, also toolbox is slightly different but the motor is the same Plumstead 350 OHV.
A friend has a similar, slightly later bike that has swingarm rear end, it's a lovely, if rather steady , bike.

A friend of mine has a Matchless but I haven't a clue what model it is. He says he got it from a local guy that used to race it in old school scrambles. Hats off to those guys. They went like fook on machines that had iffy brakes and little to no suspension. Mucho respecto!!

Thanks everybody but if anybody knows how to trace his military unit from the markings on the bike it would be helpful

Doing a family genealogy tree so every little helps----I have got back to 1754 in direct descendancy, just trying to embellish on any of the others

Richeeeeee----you must have some source and probably easier access
