OK just thinking, but a logo or badge for the GM would be good, any suggestions would be good, as to whether it should be a sticker for the bike or a flash for the leathers, either or is fine by me but would make IDing people at meets easier, I know it sounds a bit Harley blah, blah, but as I said would make ID's at rideouts easier, any and all comments welcome!!!!!

A sticker for the bike would be better, I think. People change their leathers depending on the weather and probably wouldn't want to stick/sew something on. Something on the bike, like a small sticker in the same general place (i.e. specify it has to go on the tank or something) would make it easy to identify. Then you can peruse the bikes as you do at bike cafes, and if you spot the sticker on the tank, you can prepare an ambush for when the owner returns. Think perhaps an ORG sticker/logo would make more sense though, rather than just GM.
@Dan - Nice addition of a vein. Good attention to detail.

Or just be organised enough to actually be where you said you were going to be at the time you said you were going to be there.
Most meets fail due to being late or being in the wrong carpark. If you label the bike you'll still not find people when they wonder off. Ff you label the leathers, not only do you have to have one per set of kit but you also have to go round checking out the bums of all the bikers as I assume we'd be sticking the patches on the crotch area. SV650.org used to have a nice swing-arm sticker. I used to have one on my 650. Don't know if they are still available. Doesn't really need to be GM specific. Another fairly simple option is to list bike type/colour alongside your name that seemed to work quite well when I organised my little jaunt the other week when we had a few folks who were unknown to others. Some folks have forum address and ID on the bottom of their numberplate too.

I think the Forum name on the No' plate is a good idea.

As no one is taking this seriously, I suggest un-sticking this thread and removing it!

It's not that it's a bad idea, it's just we all lack imagination in how to implement it.
