well mine is a rite state aswell. So, tomorrow the bike is having a massive clean.

Going to lace the downpipe in Barkeepers friend, then bit of fine wet and dry then autosol with wet and dry then auto with dremel polishing tool.

Never clean it this way before but i will let you know how i get on.

Looks a nice job Andy, and I see you have polished rims already.

Do you know the black hose clips can be polished too?

Hose clips!! Where does it all end, Might take a look at them tomorrow with the exhaust..

The rims are going, as the bike is used all year round i do find it hard to keep them nice and clean. The bike is in the garage in three weeks for wheels, repair to the hugger, undertray re-spray, Grab handle re-spray and the tiny black panel on the rear of the bike will also get sprayed

I will posts some pictures whens its ready, but will not be for a couple of weeks as i am in Florida the same time

Look forward to seeing the end product pics Andy.

They reckon that the grab handle can be sprayed then?

Don't recall ever seeing a curvy one in a different colour before.

You don't have to use wet and dry after barkeepers friend, when you get it to the sort of satin finish then just use wet and dry on any very stubborn areas, usually the bit right next to the header.
