I've seen a lowering kit for a k5 650 on egay would this kit fit my k3 it only consists of two shorter dogbones (apparently thats what they're called) and a modified side stand.
Could doing this have an effect on handling at all? It was just a thought as i am only a wee fella mick |

K3's had a higher seat height than the later ones. So "dogbones" may be a different length. I fitted different dogbones to a curvy and it did not lower the seat height that much. Fitted a shorter Hagon shock and dropped forks 20mm. Handling not as good as standard but O/K though.

Or send your seat to tony archer, he's a top bloke for reprofiling, gelpads etc.

![]() Might have to give him a call, mine has a nice decorative pattern of screwdriver holes since the friendly local scrotes borrowed it. |

Had a couple of seats done by Tony Archer. Good quality workmanship. I'm trying to get some money together so I can have my OEM nappy gel seat recovered.

think I will too. Get Miss Ophic's saddle lowered. Might be more effective to get her legs lengthened tho.
