Default 650 k5 speedo reading too high (double)

Clocks from a different year set up for a different speedo rotor... try a rotor from the same year the clocks came from

Any one found the reason for this we now have the same problem after a dealer fitted a new sender.

Just get them to fit a K4/5 rotor and it will sort it out as it has half the number of pick ups on it.

Wrong one fitted. A SV650 K3/4/5 speedo rotor works with four pulses per revolution, while the K6/7/8/9 works with eight.

You need to match the sender on the front wheel to the same spec clocks.
