hello all
in the middle of doing the rear caliper on the bike but need new rear pins as i cant get the old ones out. cheers Ricky 2001 sv650sk1 curvy |

haha yer read that thread, i have snapped both pins, one on the tip and that one come out in a vise the other one snappe in the vise with about 4mm on the end
ended up drilling a small hole in the back and hammer it out so deffo need 2 new pins now pmsl |

Yer sounds about the same as mine but I thought it would be a good idea to drill it from the front, bad idea now looking back on it, I should have measured it on the back and drilled there as the metal is softer. Having said that I'm getting a fully serviced set from husky for 25 quid and new pins will cost you 8.78 from wemoto

So are you going to clean up the good pin and reuse it, if so I have another - good (in need of a clean and rub down) pin, the one that didn't brake you can have if you just want a free option
