Try a fresh tank of fuel. More than likely if its been stood for ages the fuels gone off and thats why it wont start. If that doesnt work take the plugs out and clean them.

If you can it would be better to drain all the old out, but if theres not much in there then I'd give it a try mixing it. Mixing new in with old has worked before when we had trouble starting Liz's curvey when it had been stood for ages.

You might find it will take a few goes even with fresh fuel before it'll start though.

Cool glad you got it running. Pays to try the simple stuff first before you start looking for more complicated reasons why it wont run.

Umh petrol cocktails lovely !!!

grrr....

back at the mates tip toed to the petrol station to get the tyres pumped up on to find that unscrewing the cap was enough to rupture the perished valve. Que flat front tyre luckly it was at the end of its life, but super annoying anyway. Will get the recovery people out tomorrow, hopfully i can find a good place in swansea to take it and get the job done before the arsenal game!

I wouldn't be too upset. Better to have happened as you unscrewed it than it blew out on the road! As a precaution I'd replace your front one too.
