Raising forks through yokes? - SV650.org

Does anybody run lowered forks. My 03 is standard and naked

..
Rear preload set to one off max..I am 16.5 stone of pure muscle/lard.Teehee.

Turn in is a bit slow and never unsettled so maybe i should try raising the yokes..10 mm?

Any thoughts dear reader

duno about raisin but ive lowerd my 02 S by 6 mm i think or maybe 7 it seams perfect!

You raise the forks or lower the yokes to make your bike turn in quicker!!!!!!!!

Push up forks through yokes..yeah I know, just my mind don't work so good after bank holidays.

Running very worn Conti road attacks that are very U shaped won't help and maybe a more V shaped profile would help things.. good thinking that man..

Naturally you'll also need to be mindful that you don't lower things too much so that you have clearance issues. 5mm is a nice starting point, if it's not enough then go a little more in maybe 2mm increments. Going more than 12mm is a bit dicey and it's a good tip to get a cable tie and place that around one fork tube so you can see how much travel you have left to play with.
