Default FIAMM Horn question

I have the FIAMM HF-90 Horn kit and I need to know if I can paint these black? I will tape off the terminals, but can I paint the metal cone in front or no?http://ridesafer.com/store/category/5wlf/Horns.html

Why do the terminals need taping off?

Is this a physically identical replacement for thstock horn, if so I wouldn't mind one but I don't fancy having to bodge anythng.

I don't want to get paint on the terminals so that they make the best connection when I hook them up.
What I bought is a dual horn kit instead of the one, and they are a little bigger, but there appears to be plenty of room to mount them behind the radiator. They also sell a single kit, and trumpet horns if you have the faired bike. Prices are cheap, and the kit I bought came with the relay, wires to hook everything up, crimp terminals, an in line fuse and pretty decent instructions on wiring. Great people to deal with. Check them out.

Just finished installing them this morning. I had to bend the brackets but they fit behind the rad. One sits off the side and you can see it from the back, but it's not bad. I will take some pics later, but they are really loud. Way louder than the crappy stock horn.

Was it case of just swapping them for the stock ones or do you need to add resisters and stuff?

You have to add a relay to make both horns work, but everything needed for installation including wire, relay, in-line fuse, crimp terminals were included in the price.

IF you live in the city a loud horn is a polite way to ask some one who has not seen you to move out of your way me thinks.
