Default Swingarm

Iv had my k5 sv650 for about 4 months now and have realised that theres a cable that runs above my swingarm (sorry dont know what cable it is am not very technically minded :P) but it seems to be wearing away the paint on the top of my swingarm as it seems to rub against it at times, i was wondering if i should take this up with the dealer or is it something that just happens?

Sounds like your rear brake line, mine rubs on my hugger, it's a common problem. Don't know how to solve it.

Bubble wrap. Or something similar to that stompgrip material.

Or you could go to nay bikeshop and buy one of those carbon sheets that you cut up and put it on your swingarm. Sorted!

I've gone through 2 rear lines because mine kept melting on my exhaust pipe. I drill 2 holes in my hugger, threaded a cable tie through and zipped the line to the hugger, problem solved
