i just bought the K10 modle a few months back, de-restricted it and i feel as if i need abit more grunt, i have thort about doing basic mods like introducing a performance exhaust with a power comander and better air induction system i would love any adivice that could be given about the subject, and am not to worried about emissions as the bike doesnt need to be MOT for the next couple of years and when fitting the power comander as i want the best air to be as clear as possible when the bike gets sent of to dyno, how should i go about removing the exhaust gas recirculatory system if possible?
also what springs are best with what fork fluid is best to upgrade much apretiate the feed back |

put a nice can on it then save the rest for days out and consumables.
enjoy the sv for what it is, a nice v twin for fun. you wont get much more grunt from the sv unless you spend silly money. if you want more punch get a bigger bike. |

There's no best oil, there's no best spring. If you enquire with the makers of such parts they will advise as to which weight of spring suits you, and which oil to use with them.
If you want a quicker bike it's easiest and least hassle to sell your present machine and buy one that goes quicker. An exhaust and a power commander won't make any startling difference to the performance, there will obviously be an emotional horsepower increase with the fitting of a noisy exhaust ![]() Motorcycles aren't, as yet, emmisions tested at the MOT. Leave all the emmisions control equipment in place, there's no benefit in removal.

Less weight, less complexity. That is benefit to removal IMO.
Though, as far as I know, there is no EGR system. There is PAIR, but that works other way, adds intake air to exhaust, not exhaust to intake.
