Default fitting exhaust from other bike?

hi im quite new to riding with this being my second year on the sv. so i've decided to get a new exhaust for it, i'm preferably looking for a blue flame and spotted a few on ebay. my question is apart from the link pipe is the exhaust different for each modal of bike and would it be ok to fit one to my sv?

i had the blue flame evo on my sv when it was on the road
still got it on the bike
looking into making a custom system though
the sound the blue flame gives off is awesome
most exhausts will fit the sv with the hanger strap you will have to cut the original exhaust about 2 inches from the split section on the original system
as long as you got the link pipe and hanger strap most exhaust cans should fit
another thing is the evo has a bsau stamp on the back of it even when the baffle is removed

yeh wel i have heard a few good reports on the blue flame and theres no question about that they sound awesome. theres no problem about fitting it, its just that are the exhausts tuned for a particular bike to suit the engine?

No, it won't affect the SV, just make sure the link pipe is for the SV and the link pipe is the same size as the header pipe, which is 52mm diameter I think, but check, as I have Micron header pipes and the link pipe is larger than stock SV I think
