Default Fitting progressive springs

Got these Hagon progressive springs for the front of my naked pointy, I have two questions;

1/ What oil weight?

2/ What air gap?

I was going to go with the same air gap as Haynes suggests and 10w oil, but a few other threads say progressives and thicker oil. Rather than muddy up their thread I've started another.

Not sure on air gap, but oil depends on your weight, I weigh around 80kg and went for the odd combination of 12.5w oil, which required taken half 10 and 15 then mixing together, gave a nice purple colour. There was something a while back on oil and weight but I'm sure someone with more knowledge will come along

Oil is controlling rebound, which needs to match the springs more than your weight.
You need to be in range of 10-20w, depends what brand you use, temperature etc., 15w putoline works fine with hagons.

Oil height is there to control the stiffness in bottom of travel, resistance to bottoming on brakes. Don't stress over couple of mm. Try 120mm.

I changed to Hagon Progressive springs on my pointy last Summer and used Hagon 10w oil with 95mm air gap (as recommended by Hagon).
