Default Pointy Scottoiler mounting

Hi All,

what's the best place to mount a Scottoiler on a K6 pointy?

I've basically given up looking, everytime I think I've found a place I realise it'll be too hot, or it'll bind etc etc.

Any help would be great.

I've got mine under the rear seat. If you look just to the right of the seat release catch (looking from the rear) you will see a small hole which is un used. I bent the metal bracket which comes with the Scotoiler and bolted it to the spare hole. It sits at near enough 45 degrees. The tubing was then fed down the right hand side of the bike until I got to the tank hinge. I then routed the piping to the left hand side of the bike and made my way to the swingarm. Let me know if a picture or two will help and I'll see if I can take some.

Mine's under the pillion seat on the left, zip tied to the frame tubing using the supplied big rubber spacer between tubing and bottle.

Mines here. Used a spare bracket that came with the SO and twisted it.

Thanks guys, have mounted the device as per Rich_r under the pillion seat (thanks for the photo), how've people chosen to route the oil delivery pipework to the rear? I'm trying for an installation that's as neat as possible.

Cheers.
