it's probably not the gear selectors, you have to give them a real hammering to bend them - like dropping the bike on the gear level for example, I know I've done it. Get a dealer to check it out.

Are you getting any creep with the clutch in? I wouldn't rule out the possibility that it just needs adjusting...

I went out on it again earlier and the shift appears to be alot smoother again, its nowhere near as stiff now.

Basically its alot better, its just not quite as smooth as it was. Although like I said its nowhere near as bad as it was earlier on. It just takes a little more pressure to get it to change then it did, it still clicks into gear just takes a little more effort now. All the gears are there also.

I have noticed that 0 to 100% throttle at lower revs seemed to produce a bit of slip but at higher revs its appears ok ( this was pre power wheelie ), so my limited mechanical knowledge is steering me towards the clutch?

Does it need adjusting or replacing??? Im not sure? Does shortshifting cause any damage to the clutch aswell? my bike is only 7 months old with 6000 on the clock.
