I dropped my front forks 8mm and raised the rear around 2.2" and tbh the bike feels great
 next step is sorting out the srpings and oil in the front forks and replacing the rear shock need to get the bike preped in time for nurburg
|

I'll probably won't do it since i have a GSXR shock waiting on the shelf, but how did you raise the rear ? Did you replace the linkage ?
The SV650R is approaching it's completion. Next step can only be a big bore kit or buy another bike.

You raise the rear by putting shorter dogbones on. Depends what GSXR shock your putting on I know from experience that a GSXR1000 shock wont fit with shorter bones

A 2003 GSXR-750. It's not installed yet because i still have to figure out if it's sprung correctly. My guess is it's undersprung.

Not sure on that one ... I know the old SRAD shocks fit with shorter dogbones... thats what im after .

I have one for sale if you want it. SRAD shock in mint condition. I bought it only to find out it doesn't fit a K3 very well.
