just had another look, it looks a bit better now its drying but still not good enough for mr.perfectionist24_7

I do all my own decorating and quite often the first coat looks really awful until its dried. You can`t go far wrong with white depending on what you painted over, just whack another coat on it. All credit to you for even trying and if he decides to moan just go on strike or tell him to pay for a painter and decorator to come in an fix it!!! I charge £3.50 an hour plus a bit of bike maintenance, wallpapering is extra

PS: really daft question but you did use emulsion didn`t you???

yes i did use emultion, i phoned my dad from b&q just to make sure!!! its blue underneath and proving quite hard to cover. il pay you 3.50 an hour to decorate for me - no wallpapering necessary!

b&q paint is $hite............ it will need at least 3 coats
