love it to pieces but gained a whole new level of respect for it after that
I locked the rear on my SV up by pulling the clutch in while braking quite firmly. Fortunately, it wasn't too bad and I managed to keep it shiny side up. Locking the front wheel on my VFR didn't go quite so well.

^^this just made my day lol

when i locked it up it was pure engine breaking coming from naughtily coasting on the clutch then habit from being in the cage led me to not bring the revs up enough assuming id slowed down enough. only done it once though and learnt from that.

what youve really got to watch out for now is the evil mixture that is water and diseasel (diesel). wheel spins in 3rd and 4th gear while accelerating arnt the oh **** moments to worry about, its when some generous lorry/chelsea tractor driver leaves a splodge on a roundabout, look for the tell-tail rainbows in the water and if you cant avoid them without wildly swerving take them slow and sat up and ignore the angry car drivers that somehow expect you to be lightning fast regardless of wet or dry weather. oh and watch out for wind too. basically just go steady and keep your eye out for dry weather if you want to play, not even superman can change as fast as me when i see the roads are dry and grippy, though admittedly ive got more room than he does in his phone booths.
