Not everyone has the same level of self control (you and I obviously are blessed with enough to at least "yo-yo" diet).

The way I see it is she just wants and needs a lot more support.

I dont smoke or drink alcohol but I dont begrude the money spent on smoking and drinking related NHS treatment because I empathise with the problems some people have with addiction which include smoking, drinking, eating, drugs, excercise, and dont forget biking! - If we crash we dont expect to get told "well you were warned not to keep riding that bike! so dont expect to get treated anymore if you crash again!"

Why, because it isn't private? I would assume they would control her diet and offer support what more does she need? What is this private care she needs?

As it has been mentioned she was put into a £5000 a week centre where she lost weight, her family should have been the ones to support her when she left not just the NHS.

I despise this current culture of blaming x/y for situations you are somewhat responsible for getting into.

Like so many other stories that are emerging like this when its gone too far.

Has anyone considered the husband may be a "feeder" ?

Snap - I have a shoulder injury too! a strained tendon, slowly getting there with physio, I miss my full yoga routine - cant weight bear on it

Some good has come out of my recent bad health in that my appetite has become "normal" so I dont have too much of a problem with over eating anymore - thats why I have a personal insight to the differences in peoples ability to control their appetite (having experienced both).

Apparently she has panic attacks and anxiety if she doesnt eat, so he gives in (which I can totally understand - but I accept many peeps wont understand that)

Should give her cigarettes to suppress her appetite.

Also good for her anxiety too as it'll force her to breathe calmly.

And it 'llgive her something else to use her hands and mouth for.
