I think baseing it in one location and then expecting people to travel from all over, is a bit much.

I believe Jelster started the thread offering to lead a ride in his area. Other experienced riders have since come forward and offered to help out in their respective regions. Therefore IMHO it would be better if there are a number of smaller meetings, as opposed to one large one.

The TVSF has been quite active, since its creation, so people who want to go for a group ride in the local area, often already have.

Plowsie if you are prepared(and feel you have enough to offer) then by all means organise a ride.

Consequently i think the thread has gone quiet, as Jelster doesn't seem to have been around much lately.

Wrong end of the stick Plowsie.

If you want to organise something in your area, then thats great. I think it was always intended to be a 'local', rather than one giant rideout.

I'm not exactly a novice. However I do lack confidence at time. Count me in for Novice rides in the Narf/midlands.

Does anyone if this will happen? I don't mind trying to help plan a ride, though I have no experince really in leading rideouts also me being a a newbie!

but I can think of some places to go, which will last a few hours around the herts/beds/bucks and may be norfolk way drove around there a few years ago.....

I don't know any others places well enough to plan anything , but I don't mind looking into towards the end of this month when I have a bit more free time than I have now!

I'm only around the corner from you then, at Swinton - and I'm still riding when I can see the tarmac.

Best thing to do is to not have a wife, I reckon... there might be benefits, but not if it stops you from riding.
