Default tip off switch

does any of you guys know how to disable the tip off switch that is located in front of the battery compartment

I wouldn't disable it, if your bike falls over when running, unlike a carbed bike which will stop soon enough, an injected bike will continue to run and can be damaged by oil starvation.

If you suspect that the sensor is causing your bike not to run, make sure it's upright and give it a tap, I've encountered one that stuck a bit, the bike would run fine ordinarily, but if the sensor was disturbed it wouldn't reset itself when upright, this could possibly be your problem.

sid, does the switch only activate if the bike is running when it tips? just curious as mine has seen been horizontal but wasn't running and i've never had any issues with the tilt switch

i no for sure the bike dosnt start at all if its slightly out of shape.

i think the bike cuts out when its really really low 2 the ground/on the ground type of thing.

once you turn key off and back on it works again as designed.

racing the ike in minitwins and just guess its another thing to go wrong so by doing away with it the better unless i crash and get in a tangle with the bike

yep my Kwak done that when i had my off on it. I wondered why it would not start again straight away untill i turned off the ignion and put it on again.

Although I do not doubt you at all there is nothing in the minitwins regs about tip switches. Is it just an ACU reg?

I presume minitwins is covered by ACU regs as well?
