AS said, check with the officer in charge of the incident. Get them to check with traffic. If not found, then sadly report it stolen. Im not actually sure if the police are responsible for your bike. When i got knocked off in 2003, i went to hospital, and i have to get my bike recovered myself! Which i did. So i do honestly reckon someones nabbed it and its in a breakers yeard somewhere.
