For the sake of a few kilos its not worth it IMO. the reason I was naked-ing my CBR was for the handlebar conversion mainly. If I could've (knowing what was gonna happen), I woulda just saved for an LSL Yoke conversion and kept her as she was. I sold bits to save money, how i wish I hadn't sold things!
My next idea is rather better than killing one of my bikes, which in all reality I did to the CBR. Buy the various components required for a bike and build her from scratch, will learn me a lot more about how things go together and work. That or buy a bike in a crashed state and resurrect it over the next few months. Or just throw them ideas out and get the bike I've been looking at! |

You'll spend an absolute f###ing fortune.
When you buy parts, try and get as many nuts, bolts, cables, spacers etc thrown in as possible ... it's the little stuff that gets you! Did it a few years ago with a CR and only way I managed to finish it was buying a very crashed one as a donor.
