I'm saying nothing until i get the cheque from the insurance in my hand.

But my thinking is also to not waste time and money on my 8yr old bike but to get something newer within my budget.

Now be quiet the lot of ya before you jinx it all!!!!

£1,725 -350 = 550+600+225.
Gets you mobile imeadiately with something you know + something newer to work on. I'll eat my hat if you can't sell yours for more than £550 in 4 months time.

I agree with your logic but if i can have a 3yr old bike without any of the hassle of fixing things and advertising things then thats the way to go for me

The one flaw in your calculation was this bit you see....
