Default Opinions & advice re bars.

Ok, Im seriously considering these:

They are from banditmania and are 140 ish

Im hoping they will make me nice & upright reducing weight on the wrists and generally making a comfier ride. I just cant get to grips with the standard clip ons. Im hoping to do a bit of long distance touring next year so im looking at improving the riding position to prevent achey wrist and squashed manhood

Has anyone got these and if so what do you think?

To all the other orgers what do you think? Will I look like a tool with these on?

Ive got the cash in my hand and i will be ordering in the nesxt couple of hours.

I have similar on the 800's SRAD front end, well I am considering removing them now, and they are comfortable as they are higher and have a little less weight put through your wrists. It will feel different for a while at first, you will need to check all the clearance between levels and fairings though.

Aye, and they have the famous customer service reputation.

First call: "We sent it to you last week"
Second call: "We do not sell that product, are you sure you bought it from our website"
Third call: "It will be in stock Friday and dispatched Monday"
Fourth call: "That item was dispatched to you three weeks ago"

That was my experience anyway, and guess what, the item is still listed on there website and I never received it but I did get a refund three months after the last call.

I like LSL, they're as sexy as a clipon can be. I'm not sure what the new prices are now but they're not so far from that. Probably more resellable. You could also consider a handlebar conversion but I don't know much about that.

Banditmania, yeah. They do have some nice toys but they're so hard to deal with. I've ordered from them about 3 times, twice it went perfectly, but the other time was exactly as DD describes.

Ah, the ones I posted are the LSL Tour which are higher and more similar to the Banditmania ones above. The others I have are LSL Match, similar to stock SV but a less steeper angle.

Your red Xs were not informative DD I had the LSL tours on mine but it didn't take, too flat. I went with the sport match high in the end. Lovely. But probably not very different from standard I think.
