+ 1, don't go horse power hunting with the SV. As Northy said rideabilty is the key with a V-twin.

It is road legal, centre stand stop is there, I didn't drill the cat cause it doesn't add any performance.
Cool, nice looking can ther mate.

I've come and ordered a remus powercone today - an extra short one. The dealer i ordered it from insists its road legal with a removabe baffle even though the Remus website suggests otherwise. We'll see when it arrives.

Are new cans easy to fit on the fz1S? I did my own on the SV, but am slightly concerned about dealing with the exup cables and things.

very easy! no need to cut pipes etc, they just unbolt.....so do the exup cables.

Are you leaving the exup motor in place? if so you can either leave the cables hanging or remove them from the motor. if you completely remove the motor you need a chip in it's plug on the loom or else you get an error code......or you can remove it and live with the error code.

if you don't have the chip just leave the exup cables/motor in place. just tie them together so they don't get caught in anything.

next you need an air filter, chop the airbox and a PCIII that will see you with 10bhp more.

bare in mind the bike is running borderline lean as standard!! so if you get an air filter you'll need a PCIII!!!!
