good comparison there Mr Jabbo. after 8 years of George Dubblya its likely if they voted in Bubbles the Chimp there'd be street parties and millions turning up to watch him pour tea or carry a piano down the stairs...

that said, he's talked the talk. now its time for action. he's stopped all trials in Guantanamo as his first task...lets see him tackle the economy now please! and fast!

Anyone else think the whole business is somewhat hyped? I'm not saying for a moment that it isn't an important event, and I wish President Obama and the American people every success, simply that there is an awful lot of expectation to fulfil, expectation that simply doesn't seem realistic.

I watched some of it on TV. He looked very natural and no unachievable or lofty goals - but there's a mountain to climb and I for one would not want his in-tray.
