The 208's are standard fit i believe. I was told when i bought my bike that they where designed mainly for durability, so if your commuting and using the back as an everyday hack then these will be fine.
Ive just changed mine to some Dunlop qaulifiers and I think that the bike in general feels a bit more willing to corner. im only using my bike as a toy when its dry so durability isnt as important as potential grip. I have found however that the qaulifiers get a lot warmer than the 208's, which can only be a good thing !! ![]() |

I think its the D220 that are standard. They are $hit.

Sounds like it, but you do mean just the D208 right? If you were talking about the D208RR, on the other hand...I have a pair on the CBR...

Had them on my last SV. They gave me a lot of confidence, but didn't last too long. I got about 3500 miles from the rear.
Michelin Pilots are fantastic, I could feel the difference straight away. My son had 11500 miles out of a rear, mainly motorway miles and handling was brilliant

I have the d208rr's on mine, nice sticky tyre for the moneys - have a fair bit of confidence in them. Apparently no good for track use other than tootling though (or riding like that on the road)

I paid £160 for d208rr's never had pilot road 2s but wonder if they are worth £50 more? I've heard they wear fast, but are grippy.

How long ago was that? I've noticed they're chucking them away now.
