No dont believe I mentioned charity at all. I merely said that those company´s work in other areas that are an enhancement to society, they more then likely profit from that in some ways as well.

Just out of interest, why should an industry of any sort lower their prices when they have made a product and it is selling at the RRP they have set?

We live in a capitalist world and yet when those at the top do well suddenly they become the target of all evil.

I am certainly not advocating that all industries are morally sound either.

There's more than one meaning of the word charity, however they do their charitable giving wether it be in technology or straight cash they are still doing it with others money.

If you don't think it's immoral to overcharge then why should it be immoral for me to underpay? (not the same as stealing and depriving them of a product).

Possibly because they sow the seeds of their own downfall.

Capitalism isn't the problem, what companies have wrought with it IS, it's self defeating and unsustainable.

besides which we don't live in a world of pure capitalism, government regulation sees to that, usually for the benefit of the companies and the detriment of others.

Nice to see another European commitee has said their plans are unconstitutional and refused to support european initiative. Personal freedoms count more than corporate vested interest. Now lets just hope the european parliament has got the backbone to kick out what the british government has already agreed to implement in advance of it becoming european law.

Talk about getting things **** about tit. Agreeing to implement a law that hasn't been made!!!!

I like stealing small items from the supermarket sometimes... Nothing major, just like a mini samosa from the deli counter or a cheap 20p biro from the stationary section.

It's a lot more fun than downloading music illegally! Actually come to think of it....

but.....

Why dont they have docks so you can buy tracks instores like hmv and then plug your ipod / digital mp3 player in and put it on there. with music cds people dont really use them as much as listening to digital music i dont think.
When radios play music why do they not have it available to buy rather than this track comes out in x weeks time. This makes people look for it as they like the song now and want it now rather than waiting and forgetting about it
I think there are alot of there web sites which should be taken down and blocked instead of a torrent 'index'

Dirty thieving pirates... It's theft guys, no questions asked.

FYI 'Tor Browser' bypasses whatever blocks your ISP may have imposed on TPB. Just sayin' is all.

A real life case of how a business is doing after deciding to give its product away.
