The ixils come in carbon as well

Just a +1 for CCC, although their website is always down, I am pleased with mine and they are nice to deal with.

With £600 to play with I would make sure you get a full system, esp. seeing as the original is a full system, instead of a £100 end can.

That depends, on low/mid tuned engines which is virtually what all the members have then all the top names are pretty much equal however when you start to do serious engine tuning then its the M4 that leads the way.
