I do 25 miles each way which ironicaly isnt that far but take 1 hour 20 minutes each way.
Which is roughly the same amount of time it takes my girlfriend to do her 50 mile each way commute.

I commute approx. 80 miles/day! I've been doing it for about 2months now ... It definitely beats driving my truck everyday!

30 miles each way. Done 37,000 on the current SK5. Oil changes religiously, now on the 3rd air filter, cant remember when the plugs were done, but they get replaced when it doesn't feel right. Tyres last about 10k on the rear, 20k on the front. Throttle bodies? I'm thinking of getting them checked - but has anyone actually had to alter them rather than just check? I'm doing about 52mpg at the moment.

I adjust them every time I have the tank. Once you've got the kit hooked up, it takes 2mins. Hooking the kit up takes 30seconds... the hardest part it lifting the tank.

i used my naked sv for my 250 mile round trip commute from cambs to gatwick. admittedly this wasn't everyday - more like once a week, but i did't have any problems. it was much quicker than taking the car.

Throttle valve balancing is an easy adjustment, a set of morgan carbtune gauges are about 50 quid IIRC

my trip is 8 miles each way, i have worked out i get 130 miles to a tank full about 15 pounds worth now lol
i do that in about 30 mins or under depends on what time i leave home as to weather i have to filter most the way to work or have the open road, (must remember to get up earlier) i really wouldnt like to do my trip to work on a car, the girls in the office use there car and some come in saying it takes them over an hour to get to work..... |

Sadly from the minute I exit the quarry I live in I hit traffic and stay in traffic the whole way to work, part of which includes nottingham ring road where the majority of people seem to be brain dead, crash very morning or own clapped out car which breakdown every morning......this morning it took 1 hour 45 minutes for the record but it was a extra bad day.
My girlfriend bombs up and down the motorway for her 50 miles.....which is equally as bad for people crashing and breaking down to be fair.....its also a set 50mph limit for half of it now.
