A couple of things I have learnt since mine was errected.
1) The lads that put it up did it in a day (gulp) and basically once they stood a corner up "walked" each subsequent panel into position 2) They "gobboed" between the panels once it was all standing. 3) To seal the wall to floor joint all they did was haunch up some cement all the way round on the inside. To start with I had a bit of a problem with water creeping in through there. Fixed now though. If I were doing it I consider running a bead of gobbo under the bottom of the panel to seal it up tight. I think they're great if a bit cold/damp in the winter. If you're mates with a spray foam guy you could make it really snug and warm ![]() PS Years ago I put one up with a guy who was a "grunter" - the type that grunts but dosen't lift ![]() |

That it is Jimmy. Plus a work bench and all my tools to help with servicing the bike and Landrovers.
Tris - I had planned on cementing the base of each panel as they went in and sealing them together with some frame sealant, nice a cheap from our local pound shop. Hopefully it will be up by the end of next week. |
