The standard SV fitment 160/60ZR17 tyre works fine on gsxr wheel and forks etc

Is it in Saltire Suzuki? They're generally fairly trustworthy for whatever that's worth.
I totally agree about the GSXR suggestions, SV forks are mentally expensive but older GSXR stuff is cheap. It's an upgrade as well of course but it's also the cheap option, total win. But that depends on whether the old parts need to be entirely replaced, and the price tag suggests you have.

Oh aye, if it's still stuck in edinburgh, and you can get the bike and parts to me, I'll put it back together for you... I can't transport it or anything but I'll happily unbend it.

aye it's in saltire suzuki, and I'm stuck in edinburgh, currently trying to figure out what to do, found a pair of pretty much new forks from a guy breaking an SV on fleabay for about £190, thinking that'll bring the price down a touch, but it's all a bit of a mess as it won't be fixed in time for me to get to work in Derby on monday.
Thanks for the offer but I've no way of transporting the bike to you, and no bits to fix it with currently! |
