The h*nda RR on my curvy has been wired up how I describe for 10k miles or so

Some of them had a reference wire, I think e.g. CX500 it was black and the earth was green, just to confuse people. The proper earth was fatter though

Yes, the three yellows are the alternator wires and can be connected in any
combination.

My post there from two years ago.Pleased to report the Honda 600 RR reg I fitted then is still performing well.
