Go to http://www.4theride.co.uk and you could get a voucher for HG.

You get it back as store credit.. they don't take it off the thing your buying when you use the voucher. Though, technically I guess you could buy the jacket and the trousers separately 2 mins apart I guess.

Not sure if the vouchers will work with the free trousers offer. Will check on Saturday when I go again!

Well i've managed to find full leather suits for under £300 RST from £248.98 to £272.60 and hein-gericke PSX TRACK II ONE-PIECE for £219.99, or I can get leather jacket for £199 and trousers for £100 either from shop or ebay.

Advise please?

You want 2piece as long as they zip together, unless you ever go out in the sunshine for 4 hours at a time.

The way I see it.. one piece leathers offer the best protection out of all the gear options, but apparently can be a bit of a pain for everyday use, so more suited to the track. Two piece are more convenient in that they're easier to get in and out of. Make sure you can get the jacket zipped to the trousers as this will hold them together in an off.

I would avoid using ebay until you have tried on a variety of different makes and models, as in theory leathers should be like a second skin in terms of fit. Pop into your nearest Hein Gericke.. I've always been really impressed with their customer service and how helpful they are.
Sure, once you've made up your mind about which suit you want to get and in which size, use the internet etc to see if you can find it cheaper. However, whilst eBay is really good for finding deals, you obviously don't have anywhere to take it back if there were a problem, so that's something to bear in mind.. is the extra (possibly) cost worth the peace of mind for you...

I like the RST suits, gericke suits aren't bad either though I was tempted by the psx2 - paul the 6th has it if you want feedback.

What leather jacket on ebay? If you want budget leathers I'd go for the teknic, gericke or RST or any decent brand going cheap (last year's model etc). I wouldn't go for unbranded rip to shreds crap.
I was lookin at the RST fusion suit the other week in the shop at 250 quid and its better made than my £300 alpine stars suit. Good armour, triple stitch etc.

Gericke seem to have a good collection of textiles. My instructor (day in day out use) used a gericke jacket, rukka trousers and daytona boots. He reckoned they were the best value, most hard wearing (best warranty too) combination.
