Most SS 600's have quite a longish first gear, upwards of 50-60, many go to 70+, most 2nds are close enough to 100 as makes no difference.

Anyway, I digress. The 675 will turn harder, will stop better, will go faster round corners, and will only lack a very small amount of drive out of corners.

According to the stats I could find quickly (MCN)

SV - 118bhp - 189kg
675 - 126bhp - 162kg

So the 675 is lighter with more power (even allowing for the stats to be slightly wrong/inconsistent)

My gut would have expected the 675 to be faster in most situations, except top gear roll-on type. Figures kinda back that up

Dont know, but that doesnt seem right, unless its been seriously geared down I would have thought it would do better than that, the K6 600 loaner I had definately did more than 60mph in 2nd gear...
