Drop a set of emulators or intimators in on a budget. I have only used the former on a KLR and before that an XT and they work although they won't deliver the performance of a full cartridge fork.

had the same thing on a Bandit, it needed Hagon springs and thicker oil to cure it (to a degree). I was surprised and disappointed to discover that the SV has the same weakness and intended to try thicker fork oil in it in the first instance to see if that helped at all.

hi guys
im new to the forum.
i also have a k5 sv sport that handles like nothing.
ive the back 3 clicks from standard soft setting and the front fully wound in.
its a bit better but still a no good alrounder for handing.
im 85kgs fully loaded.
would love to here what you guys have done to get them sorted.

cheap and effective; people use progressive or linear springs in the front and a second hand gsxr or kwak shock for the rear. lots of info about projects on here.

yep mine does it as well, just adjusted it to hardest setting, still get it every now and then but have gotten used to it. Cheap crap suzuki parts....
