i just spray water proofing on them then brush them over, never clean them

Ive had a leather jacket for over 10 years and not cleaned it - its always been ok..

But its a good old fashioned bike jacket - not one of the 'brand' named ones.

Not got it now though

A tip I learned from my superbike racing friends.

Pledge will remove bugs from your leathers quicker and easier than anything you've ever tried and won't harm your leathers.
Also works well for cleaning bugs off bikes , windscreens and visors.
(won't harm paint either but avoid getting on brakes and tyres)

I use baby wipes on mine...cleans them and keeps them soft!.

Note though, if a product states test on small area first..then dont ignore it!.

i used a grease removed and reapply some bee's wax for mine works the charm
