mine has its give me all sorts of problems its common to remove them but making sure the flap in the open position, I'm not very technical so i just lube it often.

Sounds like aftermarket can and no valve is good

wouldent it be easy enough to get down and look at it while some one reves it to see what position it opens to then just make it stay at that position some how ?

EDIT looks like you can already see the stops in the pic just depends how you are going to make it stay open

yea you can disconnect it in the open position but the electrics keep your FI light on which is a ball ache hence having to remove the servo and a few cables and wires, i am an electrical dork so i leave it alone lol
