And it's a pain doing it without the hydraulics to help get the pistons out.

Oh and they'll probably be upset when you tell them how much piston and seal kits are because the caliper has been lovingly stored in the North Sea since the mid eighties.

Best of luck
all of above would put me off to, and the insurance thing like mentioned by some one in a previous post.

plus i have had dermatitis from brake fluid so know have a hatred for it

as above, best of luck

help yourself mate-as YC said the costs of doing calipers is expensive-decent seal kits are about 20 quid for the rear for a curvy, the cheap ones come without the small one and thats another 3 quid, pistons are expensive but most can be polished back to near new condition if not to bad, the expensive part is the actual caliper bolts-£11 for two, and the fecking pins!-don't get me started on them.+ your two courier charges would cost min £12

if your gonna do it good luck mate- I got a job lot of seals and bits from a bike shop that was closing , but i could see you having to charge crazy money-there's a dude on ebay who is £55 for a recon curvy rear(£10 more expensive than me) or another does them for £75-brand new there £140-not much money eh.I just like messing about with brakes though(got five curvy calipers ready to go but its slow at the moment).

Hey, flymo !
" I'm thinking along the lines of you agreeing on a particular brake service option, mailing the complete system (or component parts) to me via courier, I do all the work, rebuild, seals etc, even fill the system and bleed it up ready to bolt on, mail it back to you for re-fitting to the bike. "
That'll be OK until the proud owner takes it apart to make refitting easier.

well the cunning part of that plan would be to explain that its totally unnecessary to strip it down to refit it.

I wanted to gauge interest on this first, then post up what things actually cost. The aim would be to provide a tailored service depending on what you wanted doing, everything from a strip and rebuild of your removed calipers allowing you to refit and bleed your own system, to a complete service of your brake system (you send the whole thing removed from the bike in one assembly). Full instructions provided to guide you.
