^ that what i thought but i suppose if quantity and quality of grease thats used in them is unknown its best to use ure own good quality and the right quantity of grease in them.

I put Kyoto bearings in my RSV and they were fine. Never even looked in them.
Or at least they were at 160 mph on my private runway! |

Wheel bearings tend to have a separate seal too, rearset bearings catch a lot of crap.
TBH would you feel that slight notching in use barwell?

don't over grease bearings. If they come sealed with a certain amount leave them like it. Slight amount of grease on the outside when fitting.

You can't over grease a rearset bearing. Pack the bugger until it's coming out of it's ears.
Any low speed bearing is same, they will squidge about a bit and be fine, wheel bearings or any other high speed bearings will be damaged by being fully packed so pack them 1/3rd or just leave them as they come from the manufacturer. Wheel bearings are definitely one to buy KOYO bearings and not cheng sh*t pattern stuff. Same as anything, right thing to do depends on application.
