You want a 2008 on. (Silver or dark met blue for 2008, the cool as feck black ones are 07 sometimes on a 08 plate)

1st 2years are heavily restricted low down. It got slated. Folk started ripping out the secondary butterflies and fitting a PCIII to try and give it its baws back.

My workmate has a carbed Bird which whups his OE 06 ZZR till well up the revs.

Top five bike to replace my gsx14 so done my research. Good owners sites UK and US with all the good and bad.

Interesting, I'd love a black one (green seem rare as the proverbial hen's gnashers)...

Have seen a few 2009 models in black...

That's what I thought about the BlackBird but boy was I proven wrong. I ran a Fireblade and a Bird at the same time, it just takes a little more planning but you can definitely get the BlackBird around a set of twisties without issue

Aye Kwack saw the error of their ways and I think most other years have black. Gold wheels/ silver wheels, unfortunately none with the black wheels the green ones got! The wrong green IMHO. Feck even a er6 thingy *spit* got the real Mccoy!

Standard ABS on the upgraded later ones too. Handy when you approach things much much too fast.

The character thing I find can be solved by volume. I was in love with a set of M4 retro drag pipes. And keeps my speed down around town.

Anyway good luck. "With Great Power, Comes Great Responsibility. " lol.

Stretchie is like the immovable object, lol.

Then again, Squirrel_hunter who is taller but shall we say less bulky ...
Also managed to scrape his knee sliders around Castle Coombe on the bird with a top box, much like Stretch in his avatar!

Rubbish, they out handle some sports bikes!
Followed one on the IoM and over some of the scratching roads around here, they shift and flow
