Upping fork oil viscosity will just make it nasty to ride, see my post in Tuning section, it makes the poor damping very harsh without doing anything for nose dive. New springs and especially cheap emulators transforms the ride (approx £150 for both).

Very likely do 4 or 5 track days next season, some at Oulton and others at Anglesey.

MJC, of the two mods emulators and springs, which is most effective. Cash constraints

In my opinion, emulators. I prefer too light springs with good control over the right springs with poor control.

Yep, emulators if you can only afford 1 of the 2, will hug the ground without a twitch.
Debrix from the USA are about £45

Default Tyre Pressures

Both tyres are quite worn but that'll be fine whilst I'm finding my feet with the bike. Running a Pirelli Angel ST front and Avon AV56 Storm 2 Ultra on the rear for now. Just checked pressure ... yikes 28 psi in the front and 39 psi rear. Adjusted them cold to 30 psi front and 33 psi rear. I'm an 11 st. rider, does that seem about right?

A lot of folks here seem to like the Michelin Pilot Power 3 so I might fit a pair in them spring.

I'm sure there's a lot of threads about tyres here on the forum pages but the search engine seems ****e (probably not using it properly).

Any suggestions on tyres for quick road riding and the odd track day and tyre pressures?
