If we are so rubbish all year long and only make it up to them on the 14th, then why would they stay with us?

Just unnecesary pressure on us guys imo.

Isnt it more romantic to get flowers out the blue girls? Then to be sitting at work expecting them on a certain day?
Dont it mean more out the blue... cos he's obviously thinking of you.
Or are all women so suspicious that they think we've been up to no good if we get them flowers???

this is a general blanket ban Raf. Any date in any country that does it.
Is it a comercial in Brasil as it is here. Is anything for that matter? This country loves hype dont it?

My brain's Y chromosone seems to be kicking in here = currently the only bord to have voted to ban the stupid thing (& no I don't secretly enjoy it).

Not only is there pressure on men to actually do something (or suffer the consequences), but the embarassment factor and peer pressure attached when you are the one who doesn't get anything.

But the I've never received a Valentines anything... ever. Meh. Bah humbug to it all.
