I just had to fill in my modifications report for Carole Nash, for my renewal. I have a feeling this is going to hurt

Do you think they will give me cover for a wider rear wheel?

Ask 'em! Can't hurt... If you're stil waiting for me to get the bits together for the kit, there's a wee bit of a glitch with my wheel, need to get that sorted- but nearly there. Not sure if Ben'll have been in touch?

Hiya, I'm a new rider too (29 with zero NCB) (had my SV just two weeks now), and in order of cheapness these were the best price insurers:

Carole Nash (cheapest + free recovery)
Bennetts
EBike

I tried a few others too but all were more expensive. Needless to say I went with Carole Nash.

Like yourself I'm thinking about the Bikesafe course, but have decided to wait a couple of months first because:
1. Most of the safety stuff from the DAS is still fresh in my mind so I'm riding very gingerly so far.
2. I think I'll be a bit overwhelmed going out with Police bikers and a bunch of experienced bikers right now, I still need a lot more practise on the brakes/clutch/gears.
3. I'm learning loads every day already

Anyway, have fun you're going to love that bike!

Cheers all!

Won't be around for the Soho massive this week as will be on the train down to Isle of Wight. Maybe next week? It's a long way to go but I'm aquiring her from a mate from uni who lives there. At least I can trust him when he says it's been looked after, eh?

I've bought:

X/1999 Suzuki SV650s, 24500 mls, additional full fairing (yellow) and tinted double bubble screen, Akcroprovic sports exhaust (original exaust also included for that lovely tractor sound), paddock stand, single seat conversion, good full service history. Previous owner was a fireman and used it for commuting on motorway, so good miles for the engine (plus I reakon he drove it like a grandad). Alphadot security tagging. Like new Frank Thomas Sabre jacket and trousers (fabric & armoured).

£2000

Does that sound like a good deal (if not - I don't want to know!)

What does the Soho massive consist of? Is this a drinking group (considering it's Friday) or a coffe group?

Take it easy,
Matt
