go after the insurance company for compensation. they should tell you if your policy is lapsed.

dont tell them about the crash, not worth unless you hit someone else. fix it yourself.

for what i see the only things that NEED to be replaced are:
Quote:
* Helmet scratched - needs replacing
* Rhs handlebar end badly ground away - needs replacing
* Rhs front indicator snapped clean off - needs replacing
* Back brake lever snapped off - needs replacing
If the helmet is Arai, take it to hein gericke. arai will test it to see if it does need replacing, or whether it is safe. As long as the scratches dont compromise safety, forget about em. it isnt worth it financially to replace these parts.

Problem is, I only found out about the lapse when I made the claim. Luckily the 3 companies involved are so retarded the claim hadn't reached the underwriters and I was able to withdraw it. Futhermore I was able to get a letter from the insurance peeps proving a no-claim bonus for when I insure the bike again (with someone else of course).

I'm going to get the bits off eBay and get a mate to help me fix it. The scratches on the forks, wheels and handlebar-ends can wait. The exhaust is going to come off anyway as I've got a Quill T3 awaiting fitment. The lower fairing is coming off and the upper fairing I'll replace on the scratched side.
